These huggie earrings are ¾-inch long & about ½-inch wide. The width on mine is different, one is wider than the other. I got it a little closer by pushing the hoops together. They’re made of sterling silver with the 925 genuine engraved on the post. I’m going by the closeup picture, I’m not sure it’s what I see, but I could feel it.There are two sets of backs, sterling silver ones & silicone ones. The metal ones were difficult to slide onto the posts & ended up bending one of them. I don’t want to risk breaking the post off so I’m using the silicone ones. They slide on & off with ease.They come is a plain box with velvet padding so they could work for gift giving. I like these earrings but would’ve preferred them to be larger.With a tiny 925 engraved on the posts, these earrings are authentic fine yet casual and classic jewelry at a reasonable price. The style may be worn with the larger loops either in front or behind, with matching backers and a few extra silicone backers included "just in case". This is a nice, quality set for everyday style wear, that can also go into an elegant yet understated evening look. A classic that would go with the before-to-after-five "little black dress" style. Nice, classy and practical.
